A Absolutely New Way to Managing Background Noise: Signia AX

Signia unveiled its new AX platform in May, and they refer to it as Augmented Focus, a novel approach to handling background sounds and presenting speech. The platform has two distinct digital sound processors, one for background noise and one for speaking. Although that isn't exactly how they operate, the way noises are processed and focused delivers it. Let's discuss Signia AX.

Two separate sound processors are used by the Augmented Focus function. The first makes the word "focus" sound like a discussion partner. The second deals with "surrounding" noises like ambient music or laughing. The two processors separately record the focus and background sounds to increase the difference between the two and improve the way the focus sounds are presented in comparison to the background sounds. The function is predicated on the sound input obtained from the directional microphones, as shown in the diagram below.

Three Technology Types, Two Hearing Aid Versions

Three different degrees of technology are supported by the new platform, which comes in two device models. The Pure Charge & Go AX and Pure Charge & Go T AX are the versions. Both types of hearing aids are Receiver In Canal, and the T variant includes a built-in telecoil. Both gadgets have a fairly discrete appearance and vanish behind the ear. A new ear wire style that better fits the face and aids in ear canal retention has also been launched.

All new chargers, even the dryer

Signia now provides three charging options for the AX: a straightforward desk charger, a charging case resembling the one used with the Styletto, and a charging case that doubles as a drier.
That's a great concept because many RIC users were getting into trouble while attempting to dry and charge their devices independently. The mobile case, as well as the mobile dryer and charger case, will presumably be more expensive. I promise it will be worthwhile!

Bluetooth Encounter New

It is a positive development that the AX supports direct audio transmission from both iPhones and some Android devices. I'm not sure if Bluetooth 5.2 and all of the cool new features it offers will be supported by the onboard Bluetooth radio. But if it weren't, Signia would appear to have done something very wrong. I'll get in touch with them to attempt and learn more.

Signia Assistant and the Software

The AX has an app that provides the Signia Assistant among other features, just like many of their previous tools. I bring up the Helper here mainly as a result of some of the criticism I have heard. Users adore it because they believe it gives them true, easy in-the-moment control over their hearing aids.

If you struggle with hearing loss, you know how difficult it can be to communicate in noisy environments. Background noise can make it challenging to understand conversations, even with the help of hearing aids. That's where Signia AX comes in, a revolutionary new technology that helps people with hearing loss hear clearly, even in the noisiest of environments.

Signia AX is a whole new way of handling background noise. This technology uses artificial intelligence to understand the sounds around you and to adjust your hearing aids accordingly. By doing so, Signia AX can reduce the amount of background noise you hear, making it easier to understand speech and participate in conversations.

One of the most impressive features of Signia AX is its ability to detect and focus on speech. The technology can identify the direction of the person speaking and adjust your hearing aids to amplify their voice while reducing other sounds in the environment. This means that you can have a conversation with someone in a crowded restaurant or a noisy party and still hear them clearly.

Another great feature of Signia AX is its ability to adapt to your listening environment. Whether you're in a quiet room or a loud concert hall, the technology can automatically adjust your hearing aids to provide the best possible listening experience. This means that you don't have to manually adjust your hearing aids, and you can enjoy a seamless listening experience wherever you go.

Signia AX is also incredibly easy to use. The technology is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, and you can control your hearing aids directly from your smartphone. This means that you can adjust the volume, change settings, and even stream audio directly to your hearing aids with just a few taps on your phone.

Signia AX is a game-changing technology for people with hearing loss. It's a whole new way of handling background noise, and it can help you hear clearly in even the most challenging listening environments. If you're struggling with hearing loss, it's worth talking to your audiologist about Signia AX and how it can help improve your hearing and your quality of life.

It's ideal to keep yourself as educated with your hearing aids and a new breakthrough in the technology. Ask your query via Book an Appointment today. For more information visit https://hearing.careinc.ca or you can call us today at (403)605-6300
